Oh wow, I finally broke down & bought one of Bravissimo’s Strappy Tops. It’s perfect!
It’s a tanktop with a built-in bra…I’m sure some people think that’s not such a big deal, but it’s a tanktop with a built-in underwire bra with light padding (for modesty) specifically designed for those of us with larger busts. It’s a little expensive, but if you actually consider how much a bra normally costs, and you’re buying a top with a bra in it, then it’s pretty reasonable. That & it’s amazing! I just wore the top today to go to the flea market & lunch…it’s warm out and I must say it’s really nice not to have the additional layer/straps. I ordered up a band size & down a cup size from my normal bra size because I have a little bit of a tummy I’d like to hide and it fits perfectly. The support is great & I didn’t feel weird not wearing a regular bra at all, because, well, I am wearing a bra. I’m definitely going to order it in white & pink as well (I have the black one)–can’t wait! This is such a perfect top for hot California summers!
